"I
want them leaving rehearsals feeling they were approached by something
they don't have in their daily lives, something beautiful and special."
-- Eugene Sirotkine, Music Director
Come
sing with us. As you've no doubt learned by now, the Hudson Valley Singers
is a chorus that is professionally led by Eugene Sirotkine, Assistant
Chorusmaster of the Metropolitan Opera. Our performances feature soloists
from the Met Chorus and we're accompanied by the New York Metamorphoses
Orchestra.

All
are welcome to join us, particularly you tenors and basses. We don't conduct
formal auditions. We'd rather you come to one of our rehearsals and decide
for yourself if we're a good fit for you.
We've
been working on Mozart's C Minor Mass since September and will perform
it on Sunday, January 19th. We'll begin working on JS Bach's St. John
Passion in early November in preparation for a performance on Palm Sunday,
April 13th.
We
rehearse at 7:30pm on Wednesdays at the Masters School in Dobbs Ferry.
Voice part cassette tapes are available.
If
you like to sing with dedicated, creative people and would like to experience
the growth as musicians that we get to feel, then join us.
